Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Untitled (from the series Horizontes) by Carlos Rojas. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,175.99). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Rojas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,911.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (from the series Horizontes) von Carlos Rojas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.175,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Rojas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 34.911,07) versteigert wurde.
