Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Day Session, which included the work Paisaje con figuras by Carlos Orozco Romero. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,808.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlos Orozco Romero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Valle de México in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 23,500.00 (€ 27,794.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale Day Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje con figuras von Carlos Orozco Romero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.808,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Orozco Romero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Valle de México im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.500,00 (€ 27.794,20).
