Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bembé en el solar by Carlos Enríquez was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 233,000.00 (€ 211,933.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlos Enríquez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Héroe criollo in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 914,634.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bembé en el solar von Carlos Enríquez wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 211.933,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Enríquez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Héroe criollo im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 967.500,00 (€ 914.634,15).
