Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Natura morta con frutta by Carlo Levi. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,224.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Levi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura morta con frutta von Carlo Levi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.224,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Levi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
