Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Il vialetto by Carlo Follini was auctioned at Il Ponte in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Follini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lo Stagno Nel Bosco in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Il vialetto von Carlo Follini im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 700,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Follini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lo Stagno Nel Bosco im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
