Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A coastal river landscape with shepherds and their cattle by Carlo Antonio Tavella was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,568.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Antonio Tavella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggi Con Figure in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 63,100.00.

Die Arbeit A coastal river landscape with shepherds and their cattle von Carlo Antonio Tavella kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.568,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Antonio Tavella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggi Con Figure im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.100,00.
