Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2024 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work An extensive landscape, with travelers and their animals fording a river by Carlo Antonio Tavella. The price achieved of USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,955.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Antonio Tavella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggi Con Figure in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 63,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2024 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive landscape, with travelers and their animals fording a river von Carlo Antonio Tavella zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.955,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Antonio Tavella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggi Con Figure im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.100,00.
