Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Antonio Tavella could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Maddalena Penitente changed hands for EUR 6,875.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Antonio Tavella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paesaggi Con Figure in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 63,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Antonio Tavella konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Maddalena Penitente für EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Antonio Tavella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paesaggi Con Figure im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.100,00.
