In May 2019 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work "Luxor by Carl Wuttke. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,160.00 72% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Wuttke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Great Umayyad Mosque, Damascus in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,725.81).

Im Mai 2019 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Luxor von Carl Wuttke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.160,00 und damit 72% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Wuttke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Great Umayyad Mosque, Damascus im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.725,81).
