In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Violet And Green Study by Carl Robert Holty. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,471.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Robert Holty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,722.18).
