In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Violet And Green Study by Carl Robert Holty. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,471.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Robert Holty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,722.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Violet And Green Study von Carl Robert Holty zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.471,24) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Robert Holty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 63.722,18).
