Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carl Robert Holty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Bather sold for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,009.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Robert Holty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,722.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Robert Holty erzielte im Juli 2008 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Bather für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.009,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Robert Holty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 63.722,18).
