Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait by Carl Robert Holty for USD 597.50 (€ 609.94). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Robert Holty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,722.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait von Carl Robert Holty für USD 597,50 (€ 609,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Robert Holty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 63.722,18).
