Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Up to no good by Carl Reichert was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in March 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,774.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Carl Reichert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seeing After The Pups in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Up to no good von Carl Reichert wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.774,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Reichert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seeing After The Pups im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
