A top price for Carl Reichert - as previously expected
The work Seeing After The Pups by Carl Reichert was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in New York in April 2006. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Seeing After The Pups is the most expensive artwork by Carl Reichert that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Seeing After The Pups von Carl Reichert wurde im April 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Seeing After The Pups das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carl Reichert, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
