This artwork by Carl Reichert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2012. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Pug pandemonium sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,179.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Reichert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seeing After The Pups in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Reichert erzielte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Pug pandemonium für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.179,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Reichert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seeing After The Pups im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
