Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art, which included the work Study of a spaniel by Carl Reichert. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,814.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Reichert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seeing After The Pups in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of a spaniel von Carl Reichert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.814,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Reichert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seeing After The Pups im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
