This artwork by Carl Reichert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2007. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work A St. Bernard sold for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Reichert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seeing After The Pups in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Reichert erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit A St. Bernard für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.002,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Reichert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seeing After The Pups im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
