Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Palme could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Cityscape changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,330.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Carl Palme have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2015 by the work "Bergsby i Abruzzo" at SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,275.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Palme konnte im Mai 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit Cityscape für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.330,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Palme wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2015 die Arbeit "Bergsby i Abruzzo" mit SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.275,22).
