Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape Rapallo by Carl Palme was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,279.29). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Palme - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Bergsby i Abruzzo", which sold at auction in April 2015 for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,275.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape Rapallo von Carl Palme im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.279,29) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Palme mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Bergsby i Abruzzo" beobachtet, die im April 2015 für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.275,22) versteigert wurde.
