This artwork by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work View of Jönköping with Huskvarna sold for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,677.59) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stockholm from Djurgården, which sold at auction in June 2016 for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,928.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit View of Jönköping with Huskvarna für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.677,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stockholm from Djurgården beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.928,93) versteigert wurde.
