The auction ended at the price of SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,092.06), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Johan Fahlcrantz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stockholm from Djurgården in June 2016 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,928.93).

Die Arbeit Fortuna valley, Norway von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.092,06) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Johan Fahlcrantz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stockholm from Djurgården im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.928,93).
