Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Interior of the Golden Gateway in the Temple area of Jerusalem by Carl Haag was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in July 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,818.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Haag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 71,250.00 (€ 82,644.89).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Interior of the Golden Gateway in the Temple area of Jerusalem von Carl Haag wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.818,30) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Haag auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.250,00 (€ 82.644,89).
