Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Happiness in the desert by Carl Haag was auctioned at Christies in New York in January last year. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,148.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Haag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 71,250.00 (€ 82,644.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Happiness in the desert von Carl Haag kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.148,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Haag auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.250,00 (€ 82.644,89).
