Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Germanthe Rehearsal, Cairo by Carl Haag for USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,583.22). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Carl Haag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 71,250.00 (€ 82,644.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Germanthe Rehearsal, Cairo von Carl Haag für USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.583,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Haag auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.250,00 (€ 82.644,89).
