Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Haag could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Arab travellers on an Egyptian road changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,114.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Haag achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 71,250.00 (€ 82,644.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Haag konnte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art wechselte die Arbeit Arab travellers on an Egyptian road für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.114,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
