In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A Nubian harper by Carl Haag. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,976.41), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Haag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 71,250.00 (€ 82,644.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Nubian harper von Carl Haag zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.976,41) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Haag auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dome Of The Rock, Jerusalem im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 71.250,00 (€ 82.644,89).
