Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Sothebys in London held the auction Marine Art, which included the work Fishing Boats Approaching Harbour by Carl Frederik Sørensen. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,809.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Carl Frederik Sørensen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work The Pool of London was auctioned for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 24,074.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Marine Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing Boats Approaching Harbour von Carl Frederik Sørensen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.809,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Frederik Sørensen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli letzten Jahres die Arbeit The Pool of London für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 24.074,62) versteigert.
