This artwork by Carl Eldh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Ungdom" (=Youth) sold for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,530.05) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Eldh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Eldh erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit "Ungdom" (=Youth) für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.530,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Eldh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85).
