Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work Woman and child by Carl Eldh. The price achieved of SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,072.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Eldh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman and child von Carl Eldh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.072,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Eldh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85).
