This artwork by Carl Eldh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Maja" sold for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,957.46) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Eldh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Eldh erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit "Maja" für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.957,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Eldh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85).
