Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2016 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Klassiska, which included the work "Carl von Linné" by Carl Eldh. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,558.38), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Eldh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2016 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Klassiska durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Carl von Linné" von Carl Eldh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.558,38) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Eldh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85).
