Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Ved fontænen by Carl Budtz-Møller for DKK 1,700.00 (€ 227.78). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Budtz-Møller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le jour de lessive in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 2,820.00 (€ 4,492.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Ved fontænen von Carl Budtz-Møller für DKK 1.700,00 (€ 227,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Budtz-Møller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le jour de lessive im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.820,00 (€ 4.492,23).
