Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,729.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Carl Budtz-Møller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2000 the work Le jour de lessive was auctioned for GBP 2,820.00 (€ 4,492.23).
