A top price for Carl Brenders - as previously expected
The work 'Up a Gum with Mum' by Carl Brenders was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,706.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 'Up a Gum with Mum' is the most expensive artwork by Carl Brenders that we have observed at auctions so far.
