Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Coastal scenery with fishing boats on the beach by Carl Ludwig Bille. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,138.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Ludwig Bille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A French man-of-war in high seas in September this year with an auction result of DKK 35,000.00 (€ 4,692.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coastal scenery with fishing boats on the beach von Carl Ludwig Bille zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.138,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Ludwig Bille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A French man-of-war in high seas im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 35.000,00 (€ 4.692,46).
