Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape with ships in the horizon by Carl Ludwig Bille for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 5,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Carl Ludwig Bille have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September this year by the work A French man-of-war in high seas at DKK 35,000.00 (€ 4,692.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape with ships in the horizon von Carl Ludwig Bille für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Ludwig Bille wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September diesen Jahres die Arbeit A French man-of-war in high seas mit DKK 35.000,00 (€ 4.692,46).
