Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Ludwig Bille could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Seascape with sailing ships in moonlight, in the background Kronborg Castle changed hands for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Ludwig Bille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A French man-of-war in high seas in September this year with an auction result of DKK 35,000.00 (€ 4,692.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Ludwig Bille konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Seascape with sailing ships in moonlight, in the background Kronborg Castle für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Ludwig Bille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A French man-of-war in high seas im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 35.000,00 (€ 4.692,46).
