The work The Red Dress by Carel Weight was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,432.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carel Weight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Thames at Hammersmith in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 53,887.60).

Die Arbeit The Red Dress von Carel Weight kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.432,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carel Weight erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Thames at Hammersmith im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 53.887,60).
