Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A flamboyant in the landscape; A flamboyant by the wall by Carel Lodewijk Dake was auctioned at Christies in Singapore in April 2001. Here, the upper estimate of SGD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SGD 4,112.50 (€ 2,544.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carel Lodewijk Dake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A moonlit temple, which sold at auction in September 2012 for EUR 8,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A flamboyant in the landscape; A flamboyant by the wall von Carel Lodewijk Dake kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Singapur zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SGD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SGD 4.112,50 (€ 2.544,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carel Lodewijk Dake mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A moonlit temple beobachtet, die im September 2012 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
