Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A shepherd and flock by a farm by Carel Lodewijk Dake was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2000. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 2,223.38 (€ 1,024.76). Admittedly, works by Carel Lodewijk Dake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A moonlit temple in September 2012 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A shepherd and flock by a farm von Carel Lodewijk Dake kam im September 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 2.223,38 (€ 1.024,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carel Lodewijk Dake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A moonlit temple im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
