This artwork by Cao Jun achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink auction, the work Pulsating Space sold for HKD 1,207,500.00 (€ 124,315.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cao Jun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Unprecedented in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 10,266,000.00 (€ 1,173,388.61).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cao Jun erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink wurde die Arbeit Pulsating Space für HKD 1.207.500,00 (€ 124.315,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00.
