The work Landscape by Cao Jun was auctioned at POLY in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 3,540,000.00 (€ 398,609.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cao Jun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Unprecedented, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 10,266,000.00 (€ 1,173,388.61).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Cao Jun kam im Oktober 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.540.000,00 (€ 398.609,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cao Jun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Unprecedented beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 10.266.000,00 (€ 1.173.388,61) versteigert wurde.
