Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Communication Series No. 2 by Cang Xin was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2010. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,877.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cang Xin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Communication Series No. 2 von Cang Xin kam im April 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.877,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cang Xin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74).
