Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Communication Series #2 (Set Of Six) by Cang Xin was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. The price achieved of HKD 77,500.00 (€ 6,775.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 62,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cang Xin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Communication Series #2 (Set Of Six) von Cang Xin wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 77.500,00 (€ 6.775,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 62.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cang Xin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74).
