In April 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/ Turkish, which included the work October by Canan Tolon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 42,050.00 (€ 47,355.55), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Canan Tolon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Glitch Iii (From The Glitch Series), which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,197.92).

Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit October von Canan Tolon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 42.050,00 (€ 47.355,55) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Canan Tolon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Glitch Iii (From The Glitch Series) beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 79.250,00 (€ 97.197,92) versteigert wurde.
