Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work June Morning, 9.30Am by Campbell Archibald Mellon was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,740.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Campbell Archibald Mellon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work August Bank Holiday, Gorleston On Sea in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 29,375.00 (€ 48,797.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit June Morning, 9.30Am von Campbell Archibald Mellon kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.740,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Campbell Archibald Mellon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit August Bank Holiday, Gorleston On Sea im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.375,00 (€ 48.797,72).
