Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Santa Caterina by Camillo Procaccini. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,850.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camillo Procaccini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buste D'Homme Criant in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Santa Caterina von Camillo Procaccini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.850,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camillo Procaccini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buste D'Homme Criant im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
