Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The serpents handler by Cameron Jamie was sold in the Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape auction at Christies in Paris in June 2020. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cameron Jamie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.

Die Arbeit The serpents handler von Cameron Jamie wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cameron Jamie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
