This artwork by Calvert Coggeshall achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2003. In the THE DOROTHY C. MILLER COLLECTION auction, the work Greens with Reds sold for USD 3,346.00 (€ 2,789.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Calvert Coggeshall; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (white) sold at auction in November 2003 with the realized price of USD 4,541.00 (€ 3,785.74).

MILLER COLLECTION wurde die Arbeit Greens with Reds für USD 3.346,00 (€ 2.789,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Calvert Coggeshall; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (white) im November 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 4.541,00 (€ 3.785,74).
