In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Exposed Painting Cobalt Blue by Callum Innes. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,100.00 (€ 49,784.60), 47% above the upper estimate. Other works by Callum Innes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91) in November 2018 for the work Exposed Painting Charcoal Black Violet Red Oxide.
